Welcome to the Military Brats Street Team’s annual Dandelion Challenge. Team members were challenged to interpret the dandelion in some form of art. The dandelion is the official flower of the Military Brat and April is the month of the military child.. Celebrate with us by voting for your favorite. My entry to the dandelion challenge is a wire wrapped wreath 4.5" in diameter.It is wrapped with silver, copper and brass wires and features glass beads both seed beeds and other glass shaped beads, pearls, waxed linen woven into the wire. The top of the wreath spotlights a heart shaped focal bead. "Dandelion in the round" was a work of love, in more ways than one.

Created to celebrate Military Brats everywhere. Their flower is the dandelion. I'm not sure this is official, but "Bloom Where You’re Planted" is a good motto for Brat's, because they do. :)I’ve read that experts say that military children are well-rounded, culturally aware and tolerant, and extremely resilient. This does seem so true of the brats I’ve met. :)
